In this era of rapidly expanding globalization, the goal of English education is no longer only for taking tests or getting a good job. Rather, English is an efficient tool to help us understand different cultures. English enables us to communicate with and accept people from other cultures, and eventually English will allow us to share our prestigious Korean culture with others and participate on a global level.

Our English Village, which is located at the foot of Samgak Mountain, boasts a beautiful environment as well as a campus filled with unique and exotic buildings. The campus itself is an environmentally friendly village that encourages children to cultivate their curiosity, imagination and friendships. The village lets children learn English while participating in a wide variety of experiences from the everyday life and cultures of different English speaking countries.

In Seoul English Village’s Suyu Camp, children learn practical English skills and experience different cultures based on our well-designed language-learning curriculum. The primary purpose of our village is to provide children ample opportunities to understand cultural differences and diversity, and establish a sound sense of positive values so that they will be competent global citizens equipped with self-confidence and good manners.

In the beautiful environment of the campus, children will get to know different ways of living and eventually grow to be ideal global citizens who can actively mix with people from various cultural backgrounds.

We plan to develop more diverse English educational and cultural programs to set up an environment that allows more citizens to join in. I believe that Suyu Camp will serve as an innovative English education model to boost our city’s competitiveness by bridging the gap between different social classes in our community.
